Juventus Eyes Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie as Transfer Price Revealed
Juventus is reportedly keen on bringing Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie back to Serie A as part of their rebuilding efforts following a disappointing sixth-place finish last season, which resulted in missing out on Champions League qualification.
The Italian club is prioritizing several key signings, including a goalkeeper, with Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez being a potential target. However, they are also looking to strengthen their squad with multiple additions during the summer transfer window to close the gap with champions Inter Milan.
According to TuttoJuve, Juventus is expected to intensify their long-standing interest in Udogie in the upcoming weeks.

Spurs Set Asking Price for Udogie
The report indicates that Juventus has been tracking Udogie’s progress since his time at Udinese. The left-back made a significant impact, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in 71 Serie A appearances before transferring to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for around £17 million in 2023.
Despite a strong debut season in North London, Udogie’s performance has declined, managing only two assists in 45 appearances over the past two Premier League seasons, during which Spurs finished 17th.
With Andrew Robertson joining from Liverpool on a free transfer, Tottenham appears open to offers for the 23-year-old defender. Reports suggest that Spurs will demand €30 million (£25.93 million) for Udogie if Juventus or any other club expresses interest.

Udogie’s Future at Spurs Uncertain
Udogie is under contract until 2030, giving Spurs significant control over his future. However, with Roberto De Zerbi already having left-back options like Robertson, Djed Spence, and Souza for the upcoming season, it seems likely that either Souza or Udogie may be allowed to leave.
If Tottenham cannot secure suitable permanent offers for Udogie, loaning him out for a substantial fee could still be beneficial. This approach might also align with Juventus’ financial situation following their failure to qualify for European competitions.
