Water Supply Disruption Planned for Nile White Street in Mohandessin
The Giza Drinking Water and Sanitation Company has announced a six-hour water supply disruption for Nile White Street in Mohandessin. The interruption will commence at midnight on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and will last until 6 AM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
The company attributed the outage to maintenance work involving the welding of drinking water pipes with diameters of 300 mm and 150 mm in the Mit Akaba area, as part of a project to replace and renew water lines in the region.
The affected area includes Nile White Street in Mohandessin, particularly towards Mustafa Mahmoud Hospital.
Residents, bakery owners, and hospitals are urged to manage their water needs during this interruption. The company confirmed that clean drinking water trucks will be available in the affected area. To request these services, residents can contact the hotline at 125 from a landline.
