Giza Governor Provides Immediate Aid to 60 Families Affected by Building Collapse

giza-governor-inspects-sewage-pumping-station-project-in-abu-nomros/">Dr. Ahmed El Ansary, the Governor of Giza, has announced an emergency financial aid of 10,000 Egyptian pounds for each family affected by the recent building collapse on Ahmed Nour El Din and Hussein Abbas Streets, branching from Kafr Tahrmas in the Faisal area of the Haram district. This assistance will benefit a total of 60 families, aimed at alleviating the economic burdens they face during this challenging time.
The governor has also directed the formation of a committee headed by the assistant secretary general of the governorate. This committee will include representatives from the Social Solidarity Directorate, the Real Estate Tax Authority, property management, and the Haram district administration. Their task will be to examine and assess the social and economic conditions of each affected family and resident individually, with a deadline of two weeks to complete their work.
Additionally, Governor El Ansary instructed for a report from the National Center for Housing and Building Research regarding the two buildings to be completed promptly. He emphasized the need to monitor and implement any recommendations and technical procedures that ensure public safety based on approved technical results.
Dr. Ahmed El Ansary reaffirmed that the governorate is closely monitoring the situation since receiving reports about the tilt of the buildings, coordinating fully among executive bodies and relevant technical authorities. He stressed his commitment to providing necessary support and care for the affected families while addressing any developments swiftly to safeguard lives and property.
