Concerning the Palestinian issue, both ministers underscored the importance of implementing the first phase of President Trump’s plan. This includes delivering humanitarian aid, early recovery supplies, rehabilitating infrastructure and hospitals, gradual Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, empowering the National Committee for Gaza Management to perform its temporary duties from within the territory, and deploying an international stability force to monitor ceasefire agreements. They aim for this process to enable Palestinians to exercise their right to self-determination and establish an independent state along the lines of June 4, 1967.
