Egypt and Saudi Arabia Reinforce Commitment to Ongoing Coordination

Egypt and Saudi Arabia Foreign Ministers.

Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of the four-party regional meeting hosted in Cairo. The discussions aimed at ongoing consultation and coordination between the two nations regarding ways to enhance bilateral relations and exchange views on regional developments of mutual interest.

According to Ambassador Tamim Khalaf, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral ties across various sectors. Both ministers praised the continuous momentum in Egyptian-Saudi relations and emphasized their shared commitment to further develop cooperation that serves the mutual interests of both countries and their peoples.

The meeting also included an exchange of perspectives on several regional issues and crises, notably developments in Palestine, Sudan, Libya, Syria, and Lebanon. Additionally, they discussed updates related to Iran’s situation and conditions in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.

The ministers reiterated their mutual commitment to continue coordinating and consulting on various regional developments.
