Giza Governor Launches Intensive Campaigns to Tackle Waste Sorting Issues
Dr. Ahmed El-Ansari, the Governor of Giza, is overseeing extensive campaigns aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Safet El-Laban area and Tahrir Street in Boulaq Dakrour. These initiatives are designed to restore order to the streets and improve the urban landscape.
The campaigns involve the removal of all encroachments and obstructions that hinder pedestrian and vehicular movement, along with immediate actions to address garbage accumulation and sorting areas. Additionally, illegal sidewalks and curbs that were constructed without permits and violate zoning regulations are being removed. The removal of unauthorized kiosks and displays is also part of the effort to ensure smoother traffic flow and uphold public rights of way.

El-Anasari emphasized that these campaigns will continue daily across various sectors of the district, with ongoing field monitoring by executive authorities. He stressed that there will be no tolerance for any return of random practices or encroachments, and legal actions will be taken against violators.
