Technical Diploma Examinations Commence for 2026/2025 Academic Year
Technical Diploma Examinations.
Starting today, Saturday, technical diploma examinations for the academic year 2026/2025 have commenced across all types, including industrial, agricultural, commercial, and hotel management, in all governorates nationwide.
The examinations will continue until Thursday, June 18, according to the announced schedule. Today, students are taking their exams in Arabic language and religious education.
In Dakahlia, Dr. Ashraf Al-Adl, Director General of Technical Education in the governorate, stated in a statement to the Middle East News Agency that the directorate has implemented a series of organizational and security measures to ensure that the exams proceed smoothly and in an orderly manner. He added that an operations room has been established at the directorate’s headquarters in Mansoura, along with sub-rooms in various educational administrations throughout the centers to monitor the progress of the exams and address any issues students may face, emphasizing their educational and professional future.
Al-Adl revealed that a total of 43,854 students are participating in the exams across 178 examination committees throughout the governorate. The distribution of students by specialization is as follows: 25,069 students in industrial education; 14,473 students in commercial education; 2,822 students in agricultural education; and 1,490 students in hotel management.
In North Sinai, Hamza Radwan, Deputy Minister of Education for the governorate, announced the start of technical diploma examinations for this academic year at the provincial level.
Radwan confirmed that all necessary measures have been taken to prepare examination committees to ensure that the examination process runs accurately and orderly according to approved administrative plans. He noted that a total of 2,769 students are registered to take technical education exams this year: including 1,531 students in industrial education; 691 students in commercial education; 457 students in agricultural education; and 90 students in hotel management.
He highlighted that 21 main examination committees have been prepared across educational administrations within the governorate—covering Al-Arish, Sheikh Zuweid, Rafah, Bir al-Abd, Al-Hasanah, and Nakhl—to ensure a suitable examination environment for students. These committees include 11 for industrial education, seven for commercial education, and three for agricultural education.
Mamdouh Al-Hadidi, General Director of Technical Education at North Sinai’s Ministry of Education stated that a main operations room has been formed at the directorate’s headquarters in Al-Arish to monitor exam progress and resolve any challenges faced by examination committees throughout this period.
He added that all written exams will be conducted using the “booklet” system except for some subjects requiring separate answer sheets.
In Damietta, Yasser Ammar, Deputy Minister of Education for the governorate ensured smooth conduct of technical diploma examinations. He confirmed that procedures for delivering questions and transportation were carried out under strict security measures according to high standards of discipline. Approximately 11 thousand students are taking these exams within the province.
In Red Sea Governorate amidst precautionary and organizational measures along with security protocols, technical diploma examinations commenced today at local schools with a total of 3,329 students participating across 19 committees in seven educational administrations.
Moustafa Abduh, Director of Education Directorate in Red Sea Governorate stated that there are about 2,000 students enrolled in industrial education; 914 students in commercial education; 368 students in hotel management; and 47 students in agricultural education. He confirmed that all preparations had been finalized ahead of schedule with an operations room established at the directorate’s headquarters to monitor exam proceedings.
