Minister of Awqaf Highlights Contributions of Dakahlia to Egypt’s Cultural Landscape

On Saturday, Governor Tarek Marzouk of Dakahlia welcomed Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, at the governorate headquarters as part of his visit to participate in a doctoral thesis discussion at Mansoura University.

During their meeting, Governor Marzouk expressed his appreciation for the Minister’s visit and praised the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the governorate and the Ministry of Awqaf in various fields aimed at serving citizens’ interests. He highlighted the efforts of the Minister in maintaining the prominent status of Egyptian imams and preachers both locally and internationally under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

In response, Dr. Al-Azhari conveyed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome from Governor Marzouk. He acknowledged the governor’s significant efforts across various service and developmental sectors, noting that Dakahlia has produced prominent figures in diverse fields including religion, literature, arts, politics, and more.
