Arsenal Dominates PFA Player of the Year Nominations, Salah Omitted
The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) has announced the final list of nominees for the Premier League Player of the Year award for the 2026 season, featuring six standout stars from the competition.
Notably absent from this year’s nominations is Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah, who was awarded the title of Best Player in England for the 2024-2025 season. His omission comes as a result of a decline in form with Liverpool last season, which concluded with his announcement to leave the club as he awaits his next destination following his participation with Egypt in the 2026 World Cup.
