Egypt Condemns Attack on UNIFIL Forces in Southern Lebanon

Egypt has condemned the attack on a site belonging to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), which resulted in the death of a Serbian soldier and injuries to two soldiers from Spain and El Salvador.

The Egyptian government firmly rejects any targeting of UN peacekeeping forces and emphasizes the importance of ensuring the security and safety of its personnel, enabling them to carry out their duties according to their UN mandate, which contributes to supporting security and stability in brotherly Lebanon.
