Historical Matchup

Historical data shows a clear advantage for Brazil over Egypt in previous encounters. The Brazilian team has won all matches played against Egypt throughout history.

The two teams have faced each other six times before—five friendlies and one official match—with Brazil winning every time without Egypt achieving any positive results through wins or draws.

In 1960, three matches were held between the two sides on Egyptian soil, where Brazil emerged victorious with scores of 5-0, 3-1, and 3-0. They continued their dominance in a match in 1963, winning by a narrow margin of 1-0.

The only official encounter took place during the Confederations Cup in South Africa in 2009. Despite a strong performance from Egypt, they lost to Brazil with a score of 4-3 during their group stage opener.

The last meeting between the two teams occurred in 2011 during a friendly match held in Qatar, where Brazil again triumphed with a score of 2-0, maintaining their flawless record against Egypt.
