Egypt’s Prime Minister Advocates for Baccalaureate System to Replace Current High School Exams
During a press conference following a cabinet meeting, Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced efforts to implement a baccalaureate system aimed at alleviating the pressures associated with the current high school examination process.
Madbouly stated, “We aim to reduce the number of secondary school examination committees to enhance oversight.” He emphasized that the baccalaureate system would provide students with an opportunity to study without the psychological burden of the existing framework.
The Prime Minister also expressed openness to any amendments proposed by the House of Representatives regarding the personal status law, noting that the draft of this legislation is not yet finalized.
