Kuwait Honors Pakistan’s Ambassador for Strengthening Bilateral Ties

Kuwait City – The Diwan of the late Abdulrahman Al-Kandari honored His Excellency Dr. Zafar Iqbal, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Kuwait, in recognition of his efforts to enhance Kuwaiti-Pakistani relations. During the event, a commemorative plaque from the Diwan was presented to the ambassador along with a copy of the Diwan magazine.

In a gesture of goodwill, the Diwan hosted a dinner in honor of Ambassador Iqbal, reflecting the deep historical ties between Kuwait and Pakistan. Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Kandari, President of the Workers Union at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, noted that the gathering recalled numerous honorable moments shared by both nations over the decades, reaffirming the strength of friendship and mutual cooperation between their peoples across various fields.

At the conclusion of the event, attendees expressed their hopes for continued progress and prosperity in Kuwaiti-Pakistani relations, emphasizing that friendship and cooperation should persist for the benefit of both nations. Among those present at the ceremony were Mr. Fadel Al-Kandari, journalist Saad Al-Khalaf, retired General Ahmed Sharif, Dr. Adel Al-Kandari, and Captain Sami Al-Hashash. They underscored the importance of such gatherings in fostering communication and collaboration among diverse cultures.
