Egypt’s Cabinet Holds Weekly Meeting to Address Key Issues
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting on Thursday at the New Administrative Capital. The session focused on several important issues across economic, social, and investment sectors, along with monitoring the progress of ongoing projects in various governorates.
The discussions are set to address efforts to secure fuel stockpiles to ensure sustainable energy supply for citizens and various production sectors. The Cabinet will also review the progress of projects aimed at strengthening the national electricity grid, reflecting the government’s commitment to enhancing this vital sector. Additionally, the meeting will cover ongoing reforms and restructuring efforts for state-owned enterprises, including updates on the planned offerings under the government’s privatization program. Another key topic will be the development of the social protection system to ensure that support reaches eligible recipients more effectively and efficiently.
Following the meeting, Prime Minister Madbouly is scheduled to hold a press conference to present key decisions and updates regarding economic and service-related issues.
