Haiti Dominates New Zealand with 4-0 Victory Ahead of World Cup Clash with Egypt
The New Zealand national football team suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Haiti in a friendly match, part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, set to take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This result carries significant implications for the Egyptian coaching staff, led by Hossam Hassan, as New Zealand is among the teams competing against Egypt in Group G of the World Cup, which also includes Belgium and Iran.
Despite a relatively close possession battle during parts of the match, Haiti showcased their superiority through effective attacking play and capitalized on defensive errors from their opponents, successfully netting four goals without reply.
