Education Minister Addresses High School Students Ahead of Exams

Mohamed Abdel Latif, Egypt’s Minister of Education and Technical Education, has issued a heartfelt message to high school students, their parents, and teachers as the national high school exams are set to begin tomorrow, Sunday. Over 921,000 students will participate in these exams across the country.

In his message, the minister said: “Dear students, as you prepare to embark on your high school exams tomorrow, I want to share a message from the heart during this crucial time in your educational journey. You are on the brink of an important phase; this is not the end of the road but rather a step in a long journey of learning and ambition. You have worked hard throughout your years of study, and now is the time to translate that effort into confidence, calmness, and focus. Trust yourselves; remember that true diligence never goes unrewarded, and every diligent student will receive their due reward.”.

He added: “All stakeholders in the educational system have worked tirelessly to ensure that these exams commence under strict measures that uphold fairness and equal opportunities. We urge you to steer clear of rumors and sources of anxiety, fully adhere to exam regulations, and uphold values of integrity and merit.”.

Addressing parents, Abdel Latif stated: “Dear parents, we understand the significant responsibility you bear and the effort you have put into supporting your children throughout their educational journey. We trust that you will continue this role during the exam days. Be a source of reassurance and confidence for your children; provide them with the psychological support they need away from pressure, comparisons, and stress. Kind words, sincere prayers, and support are critical factors in helping our students perform at their best.”.

The minister also expressed gratitude to teachers: “To all teachers and those involved in administering the exams, I extend my sincere thanks for your dedicated efforts and the significant responsibilities you bear during this period. You are fulfilling a noble national mission that contributes to establishing principles of justice and equal opportunity among students while preserving the value of education and hard work. We trust in your full commitment to ensuring that exams proceed in an atmosphere of discipline, transparency, and responsibility.”.

Furthermore, he addressed media professionals: “Dear partners in media, I sincerely thank you for your dedicated efforts over the past period in conveying facts to the public and highlighting the state’s efforts alongside the Ministry of Education in developing educational systems and enhancing services provided to our students.”.

Abdel Latif concluded by expressing his complete confidence in their professional awareness and understanding of the national responsibility resting on their shoulders during this critical phase when high school exams commence with more than 921,000 students participating across 2,032 committees nationwide. He emphasized the importance of accuracy in information dissemination while contributing to raising awareness among students and parents.

In closing remarks directed towards high school students, he wished them success and excellence in their endeavors. He expressed confidence that their hard work would bear fruit with God’s blessing while reiterating Egypt’s pride in its diligent youth capable of creating a brighter future for themselves and their nation.
