Emad Kdwan, the Governor of Minya, announced that all preparations for the upcoming high school exams for the academic year 2025/2026 have been completed. He directed all relevant sectors and executive bodies to raise their readiness levels to ensure smooth exam operations and provide a suitable environment for students within the examination committees.
The governor emphasized the need for local unit heads to intensify general cleaning efforts, remove encroachments around schools and exam venues, and ensure that access roads are ready. Continuous field monitoring throughout the exam period will contribute to a safe and quiet environment for students.
Additionally, Kdwan urged enhanced coordination between executive and security agencies and service directorates to secure exam venues and transport routes, ensuring prompt responses to any emergencies. He also stressed the importance of maintaining traffic flow and preventing congestion around exam sites, along with providing suitable transportation for students heading to the new Minya city committees.
Meanwhile, Saber Zayan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Minya, stated that a total of 33,677 students are registered to take the high school exams this year across 91 main committees distributed throughout the nine educational administrations in the governorate.
Zayan added that all committees and rest areas designated for committee heads and supervisors have been prepared, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Full coordination has also been established with health, ambulance, electricity, and telecommunications directorates to provide necessary support and rapid intervention in emergencies.
The Undersecretary reaffirmed strict adherence to regulations governing exam procedures, including a ban on mobile phones or any electronic devices within examination rooms. He highlighted a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating attempts, with legal measures being enforced against violators to ensure fairness among all students.
