Government Launches Second Edition of State Ownership Policy Document
Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister of Egypt, attended the launch of the second edition of the State Ownership Policy Document following a weekly government meeting, alongside various officials, experts, and stakeholders.
Dr. Osama El-Gohary, Assistant to the Prime Minister, stated that the update of the document is based on legislative frameworks and will focus on defining the state’s role in the economy through seven primary functions.
He added that the State Ownership Policy Document has received significant praise, noting that there have been transactions totaling $5.9 billion under the first version of this policy.
