Prime Minister Congratulates Egyptians on New Hijri Year

The Egyptian Dar Al-Ifta has officially confirmed the sighting of the moon, marking the beginning of the month of Muharram for the year 1448 AH.

As a result, it has been announced that Tuesday, June 16, 2026, will be recognized as the first day of Muharram in the year 1448 AH.

On this auspicious occasion, Dar Al-Ifta extended heartfelt congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, wishing him continued health and well-being. They also conveyed their warm wishes to the esteemed Egyptian people, as well as to all leaders and rulers of Arab and Islamic countries, and Muslims worldwide. They prayed for Allah to grant Egypt and all of them similar blessed days filled with prosperity, goodness, blessings, security, and peace.
