Prime Minister Congratulates Al-Azhar Sheikh on the New Hijri Year

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Prime Minister, sent a congratulatory message to His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1448 AH.

In his message, the Prime Minister expressed, “I am pleased to extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to you on this occasion, which embodies the values of coexistence, brotherhood, and peace.”.

He further added, “We pray to Allah Almighty on this blessed occasion to grant you good health and continued success. May this year bring goodness, peace, and prosperity to Egypt and the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations. We hope that Al-Azhar continues to uphold the values of moderation and tolerance.”.
