Bishop Ibrahim Isaac Lays Foundation Stone for St. George’s Church Renovation in Tantawe
Bishop Ibrahim Isaac visited St. George’s Church in Tantawe, where he presided over the ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the church’s demolition and renovation project.

He was accompanied by Bishop Bishara Koudah, the Metropolitan of the Diocese, and Bishop Thomas Adly, Metropolitan of Giza, Fayoum, and Beni Suef, along with a delegation of priests.
Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the church’s priest, Father Habib Ghattas, along with the congregation and deacons who greeted them with hymns and church chants in a joyous atmosphere celebrating this blessed visit.
During his visit, His Holiness delivered a spiritual message encouraging the parishioners to remain steadfast in their faith and collaborate in building the church and nurturing spiritual life. He emphasized that the church is not merely a structure made of stones but a community of believers united in Christ’s love.
Following this, he presided over the laying of the foundation stone for the renovation project and bestowed his paternal blessing upon those present, praying that God bless this work and crown it with success. He expressed hopes that the church would remain a beacon of faith, service, and love.
