Bishop Arsani Leads the 13th Anniversary Celebration of the Diocese of Holland.

In a spiritually uplifting atmosphere, the Diocese of Holland celebrated its 13th anniversary today, Saturday, marking both its establishment and the ordination of its bishop, His Grace Bishop Arsani. The event was attended by members of the diocesan priest council, consecrated deacons, and congregation members from various Coptic Orthodox churches across the Netherlands.

The Cathedral of the Virgin Mary and Saint Verena in Bussum was filled with hundreds of worshippers who gathered to partake in this blessed occasion. The celebration commenced with a divine liturgy presided over by His Grace Bishop Arsani, alongside the priests and deacons.

Following the liturgy, festivities began with a procession to welcome Bishop Arsani and the priests amidst joy and love from the congregation. The priests delivered congratulatory speeches highlighting God’s work over the past years, showcasing spiritual and service growth within the diocese since its inception. They emphasized the numerous blessings that have accompanied the diocese’s journey throughout these years.

The choir groups from different age groups within the churches presented exceptional performances featuring spiritual and traditional hymns. Additionally, the deacon choir delivered a stunning rendition of church melodies under the direction of Deacon Mark Antonio, eliciting significant interaction and joy from attendees.

The celebration also saw attendance from Counselor Mariham Youssef, Deputy Ambassador of Egypt to the Netherlands, who represented Ambassador Emad Hanna during his absence on vacation. She conveyed warm congratulations and best wishes to Bishop Arsani and all members of the diocese on this milestone anniversary.
