Ministry of Awqaf Highlights Family Stability in Friday Sermon

The Ministry of Awqaf has announced the topic for the Friday sermon on June 12, 2026, corresponding to the 26th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1447.

According to a statement from the Ministry, the sermon aims to raise awareness about the foundations of family stability and its impact on developing a beneficial individual for society and the nation.

The focus of today’s sermon will be on “The Impact of Family Stability on Human Development.”.

Additionally, the Ministry noted that the second sermon will address “The Dangers of Lack of Communication Between Parents and Children” as part of its initiative to correct misconceptions.

In related news, the Ministry is set to inaugurate 21 mosques tomorrow, June 12, 2026. This includes the construction of four new mosques, renovation and renewal of 14 mosques, and maintenance and development of three others.

Since July 1, 2025, a total of 1,159 mosques have been inaugurated, including 888 newly constructed or renovated mosques and 271 undergoing maintenance and development.

The Ministry confirmed that a total of 14,648 mosques have been renovated or maintained since July 2014, with an estimated total cost of approximately EGP 27.909 billion.
