The Ministry of Awqaf announced on its official Facebook page the topic for today’s Friday sermon, scheduled for June 19, 2026. All imams across the country will address this theme in their respective mosques.

Today’s Friday Sermon Topic

The Ministry published the text of the Friday sermon topic for the 4th of Muharram 1448 AH, emphasizing that the aim is to raise awareness about migration to Allah through abandoning everything He dislikes and embracing what pleases Him.

In its statement, the Ministry said: “Live the true state of migration and abandon what Allah has prohibited. Understand that migration is not just a past time but a condition of those who adhere to the path of truth and accept it. Abandon sin and wrongdoing, purify your heart from evil intentions, steer clear of deceit and dishonesty, and forsake lies in actions and speech to receive great rewards from Allah. Hold fast to truthfulness in public and private matters.”.

The Ministry added: “Let your provisions in both worlds be the word of piety, and stay away from what angers the Lord of the worlds, so you may be among His righteous servants who are brought close to Him; whenever you abandon sins and wrongdoings, your heart will shine with the light of guidance.”.

Furthermore, it stated: “Make this noble understanding a principle in your life and a secret to your salvation, achieving true heart migration while maintaining a sound self. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) clearly articulated this concept when he said: ‘A Muslim is one from whom other Muslims are safe from his tongue and hand, and a migrant is one who abandons what Allah has prohibited.'”.

Opening New Mosques

In related news, the Ministry also announced the inauguration of several new mosques today as part of its efforts to enhance places of worship across Egypt.

According to their official Facebook page, a total of 16 new mosques will be opened today. This includes one newly constructed mosque, 11 mosques that have been renovated or rebuilt, and four mosques that have undergone maintenance and development.
