Dr. Ibrahim Saber, the Governor of Cairo, joined residents of the Asmarat neighborhood this evening to watch the opening ceremony of the World Cup on a large screen provided by the governorate at local sports fields.

The Asmarat neighborhood is one of several locations where the governorate has set up large screens to allow citizens to watch national team matches for free in a safe and organized environment.
The governor emphasized Cairo’s commitment to supporting activities that foster joy among citizens and promote sportsmanship and community engagement.
Governor Saber also noted that several sites have been prepared with giant screens for fans during Egyptian national team matches, including the Youth City in Asmarat, the New Maadi Youth Center on Algeria Street, and the Rod El Farag Youth Center.
