Dr. Essam Farhat, President of Minya University, officially opened the third forum for graduates and the exhibition of graduation projects for the 2025/2026 cohort at the Faculty of Computer Science and Information. This initiative is part of the university’s strategy to support employment and entrepreneurship, while enhancing connections between graduates and the job market, ultimately preparing them to compete in a digital economy and meet future job requirements.

Dr. Farhat emphasized that Minya University prioritizes establishing genuine partnerships with industry and technology sectors, which is crucial for equipping students and graduates for the labor market. He noted that employment forums serve as strategic platforms that allow students and graduates to gain direct insight into company needs, required skills, and in-demand specializations. Additionally, these forums provide real opportunities for training and employment, enhancing graduates’ readiness to thrive in modern work environments.

The university president pointed out that organizing employment forums aligns with the national agenda to support the digital economy and build a knowledge-based society. He affirmed that the university continually seeks to develop educational programs by linking them with practical applications and modern technologies, thereby improving graduate quality and fostering innovation.

During his tour, Dr. Farhat reviewed graduation projects presented by students from the 2025/2026 cohort, which showcased a high level of academic and practical preparedness. The projects included smart applications and digital platforms serving various sectors, such as systems for managing transportation services, university attendance tracking, an academic advisor application for student guidance and registration services, as well as attendance systems utilizing facial recognition and fingerprint technology. Additionally, several software solutions aimed at supporting digital transformation within organizations were also highlighted.
