Spanish media reports indicate that Manchester City is considering a move for Barcelona’s Alejandro Balde during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the sports newspaper “Marca,” City is contemplating a bid of up to €70 million to acquire the left-back in the coming weeks.

The English club views Balde as a fitting option for its future plans, particularly amid speculation regarding life after manager Pep Guardiola.

Meanwhile, uncertainty surrounds Balde’s future at Barcelona, as the club has yet to receive any official offers. However, they are exploring the possibility of selling players to achieve financial balance. Despite his development and early contributions to the first team, Balde’s position is not fully secure.

In related news, reports from “The Athletic” suggest that Manchester City is also interested in signing right-back Pedro Porro from Tottenham Hotspur.

Porro previously played for City between 2019 and 2022 but did not make any official appearances before his permanent transfer. He is currently under contract with Tottenham until June 2028.
