The tournament, co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will run from June 11 to July 19, featuring a record 48 teams for the first time.
According to Belgian network RTBF, Doku sustained a minor injury during a training session on Wednesday. However, initial assessments revealed no serious damage, with the player only experiencing slight discomfort.
The report further noted that Doku left the training session after approximately 50 minutes as a precautionary measure, but his chances of participating in the match against Egypt remain high.
Doku is considered one of Belgium’s key attacking assets, making his readiness an important factor for the coaching staff as they prepare for the tournament.
