Minister of Labor Prioritizes Efficient Service Delivery to Meet Public Needs

On Wednesday, Labor Minister Hassan Raddad conducted an unexpected inspection of several labor offices under the Directorate of Labor in Qalyubia Governorate. The visit aimed to monitor the workflow and assess the quality of services provided to the public, particularly those related to the labor market, employment, training, and electronic work card issuance.

The minister’s tour included visits to various offices, including the Occupational Safety and Health office in El Obour City. During this visit, he inspected different sections of the office and reviewed the workflow and service delivery mechanisms. He also monitored inspection procedures concerning compliance with occupational safety and health regulations within establishments.

During his tour, Raddad emphasized the importance of continuous field presence and oversight of staff performance across various ministry offices. This initiative is part of an effort to ensure prompt service delivery and facilitate procedures for citizens, aligning with directives from political leadership to enhance government services and improve institutional performance.

The minister instructed the Director of Labor in Qalyubia to maintain ongoing coordination and monitoring with office managers under the directorate. He stressed the necessity for a constant field presence to address citizens’ needs, ensure operational continuity, and improve service quality while resolving any obstacles that may affect service delivery.

Raddad also underscored the importance of strict adherence to official working hours, delivering services efficiently and quickly, and positively engaging with individuals visiting the offices. He asserted that discipline, precision, and accountability are fundamental pillars for enhancing performance and achieving citizen satisfaction.

Based on observations made during the tour, Raddad directed necessary actions to address identified shortcomings and called for holding negligent staff accountable in accordance with established work regulations. This approach aims to reinforce principles of discipline and professional commitment.

In conclusion, the Minister of Labor reaffirmed his commitment to conducting ongoing surprise visits to labor offices and ministry directorates across various governorates.
