Libyan Al-Madina Club Management Takes Positive Steps in Partnership with Atletico Madrid

Follow-up – Ahly Online – The management of Al-Madina Club in Libya held an official meeting at the headquarters of Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital, Madrid. The meeting was attended by leaders from both clubs and covered several important topics.

Representing Atletico Madrid were Mr. Oscar Mayo, the club’s general manager, and Mr. Jesus, the chairman of the board. On behalf of Al-Madina Club, Mr. Abdelsalam Al-Jahani, the club president, along with Mr. Mahmoud Al-Washahi, the vice president, Mr. Fathi Al-Hengari, and Mr. Abdelkader Al-Shweirf, both board members.

The meeting discussed arrangements for a friendly match between the two clubs in the near future, as well as plans to open an academy for Atletico Madrid’s youth teams within Al-Madina Club to enhance this sector. Additionally, preparations for the first team’s training camp in Spain ahead of the league’s start were reviewed.

Furthermore, discussions included negotiations to sign a right winger from Atletico Madrid as part of efforts to strengthen the first team with quality players for the upcoming season.
