Dr. Engineer Salah Suleiman Jumblatt, Egypt’s Minister of Military Production, convened a meeting with the heads of the boards of directors of companies and units under the ministry to assess their financial and technical performance for the period from July 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. The meeting took place at the ministry’s training sector in Madinat al-Salam.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination among various sectors within the affiliated companies and units. He called for comprehensive support for technical staff on production lines and advocated for an increased application of artificial intelligence in monitoring and security operations to boost production efficiency and overcome challenges. He also highlighted the need to activate committees responsible for assisting production processes and improving their efficiency.
Jumblatt pointed out that effective modern management strategies focus on three main pillars. The first pillar involves developing human capital by equipping employees with digital and technical skills and enhancing their problem-solving abilities, enabling them to collaborate effectively with artificial intelligence systems. This requires a continuous training and learning system. The second pillar focuses on bolstering technological capabilities through ongoing investments in digital infrastructure and data systems. The third pillar centers on industrial transformation by reorganizing production processes and adopting modern operational mechanisms based on advanced technology, thereby supporting development efforts, improving performance efficiency, and keeping pace with rapid changes.
The Minister also stressed the necessity of removing all obstacles faced by employees to facilitate the implementation of production plans without hindrances, as well as activating shift systems to create a suitable and comfortable work environment for workers.
Furthermore, Jumblatt underscored the importance of implementing governance systems within the affiliated companies and units to enhance performance and improve work efficiency, particularly concerning monitoring technical operations and financial performance while discussing performance measurement indicators to assess execution rates against targets.
In conclusion, he reiterated the significance of efficiently utilizing time and resources while continuously striving to enhance performance levels, which contributes to achieving objectives and strengthening the role of military production in supporting development plans and meeting state needs.
