Egypt’s Railway Authority Launches Sleeper and Air-Conditioned Trains to Boost Travel to Marsa Matrouh

The Egyptian National Railways Authority has announced the introduction of sleeper and air-conditioned trains on the Cairo to Marsa Matrouh route, effective Wednesday, June 10, 2026. This initiative is part of the authority’s preparations for the summer season aimed at boosting domestic tourism and accommodating the influx of vacationers heading to Marsa Matrouh.
