Earlier, Dr. Madbouly also toured the West Control Center operated by the Alexandria Electricity Distribution Company in Borg El Arab City. He emphasized the government’s commitment to monitoring projects related to the national electricity grid, highlighting efforts to enhance this vital sector’s efficiency and ensure a continuous supply of electricity for various domestic and developmental uses.

In this context, he noted ongoing modernization and reinforcement of the unified national grid using modern technologies to improve service quality for citizens.

Ayman Attia, Governor of Alexandria, pointed out that the West Control Center was established as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade the electrical network in Alexandria in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy. He also mentioned initiatives to enhance meter governance, expand smart meter systems, and automate interactions with subscribers.
