Dr. Maya Morsi, the Minister of Social Solidarity, received a report from Ayman Abdel Mawgood, the Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Head of the Charitable Societies Hajj Mission, regarding the repatriation of pilgrims from the holy lands after completing their Hajj rituals.
As of now, approximately 6,712 pilgrims from charitable societies have returned to Egypt. An additional 5,763 pilgrims are expected to arrive by June 14, which marks the date for the last groups’ return from Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Medina.

The head of the Charitable Societies Hajj Mission confirmed that the pilgrims currently in Saudi Arabia are safe. Those in Mecca are visiting the Grand Mosque and performing Tawaf al-Wada (the farewell circumambulation) as they prepare to leave. Meanwhile, pilgrims in Medina are focused on praying at Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque under arrangements made by the Charitable Societies Hajj Mission and accompanying supervisors.
