Egypt’s National Team Holds Final Training Ahead of Friendly Match Against Brazil

The Egypt national football team, under the guidance of head coach Hossam Hassan, is set to conduct its final training session today at Huntington Bank Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, in preparation for the upcoming friendly match against Brazil.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 1:00 AM Cairo time on Sunday, as part of both teams’ preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Training for the “Pharaohs” will begin at 5:30 PM local time in Ohio, which corresponds to 12:30 AM Cairo time. The coaching staff aims to finalize tactical plans and the expected lineup before facing the Brazilian team.

Hossam Hassan hopes to utilize this match to assess player readiness and experiment with different tactics and player combinations, aiming for optimal physical and technical condition ahead of the official competitions in the World Cup.

In related news, the officiating crew assigned to manage the match has arrived in Ohio, preparing for what is anticipated to be a significant warm-up encounter ahead of the World Cup.
