Egypt’s Prime Minister Aims for Cash Support Transition in Upcoming Fiscal Year

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Prime Minister, announced today that the government is approaching the issue of in-kind support with realism and efficiency.

During a press conference following a cabinet meeting, Madbouly stated, “We aim to ensure that support reaches those who truly need it.” He emphasized that the government is targeting a shift to cash support in the upcoming fiscal year.

Madbouly noted that the cash support will be allocated according to specific tiers, aiming to assist the most vulnerable groups in society.
