Egypt’s Prime Minister Announces Significant Budget Increases for Health and Education

In a press conference following a government meeting, Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced a substantial increase in the country’s budget allocations for the upcoming fiscal year. The health sector will see a 30% increase, while education will receive an additional 20%.

Dr. Madbouly emphasized that these budgetary enhancements are part of a broader strategy to strengthen public services. He also condemned the recent attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain, expressing Egypt’s solidarity with both nations.

The Prime Minister further noted that the new fiscal year will introduce comprehensive tax and real estate incentives aimed at stimulating economic growth. He highlighted an increase in remittances from Egyptians abroad, reflecting confidence in the resilience of Egypt’s economy.
