Egypt’s Prime Minister Pledges Reliable Electricity Supply This Summer

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egypt’s Prime Minister, announced today that the government is committed to ensuring all electricity needs are met throughout the summer.

During a press conference following a cabinet meeting, Madbouly stated that decisions regarding economic authorities will begin to be issued this month.

He also revealed plans to list several state-owned companies on the stock exchange before the end of September.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Egypt is maintaining an economic growth rate of 5.3 percent.

Additionally, he noted that Egypt will be among the countries producing raw materials for pharmaceuticals.
