Egypt Emerging as a Prime Investment Hub, Says Housing Minister
Engineer Randa El-Manshawi.
Engineer Randa El-Manshawi, Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stated that Egypt possesses strong investment capabilities, making it one of the most attractive markets for investment. This comes in light of the major national projects and comprehensive infrastructure development witnessed in recent years.
Her remarks were made during a high-level ministerial dialogue held at the “Future of Egypt: Investment Opportunities and Sustainable Economic Reform” conference in London, which was attended by various ministers and representatives from both Egyptian and British business communities.
The minister emphasized that new cities have become integrated platforms for urban and economic growth. She noted that the Ministry of Housing is offering diverse investment opportunities across urban development, commercial, administrative, and service activities, along with infrastructure projects.
Furthermore, she revealed that the ministry has prepared a comprehensive file detailing the key investment opportunities currently available in new cities. This file has been shared with relevant authorities and the Egyptian and British embassies to enhance communication with British investors looking to expand into the Egyptian market.
El-Manshawi affirmed that Egypt not only presents promising investment opportunities but also offers advanced infrastructure and a supportive governmental commitment to investment. This makes new cities an attractive destination for long-term investments and a key driver of sustainable development.
