The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation is actively overseeing the distribution of subsidized fertilizers to farmers across all governorates. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to support farmers and ensure that fertilizers reach those in need, as directed by Minister Alaa Farouk.

In a recent report received by the Minister, Dr. Ahmed Azam, Head of the Cooperatives and Directorates Affairs Sector, confirmed that the nitrogen fertilizer support system is currently operating at full production and distribution capacity. He noted that supplies from fertilizer-producing factories are being delivered regularly according to scheduled distribution flows. To date, nearly one million bags of fertilizer have been distributed, with plans in place to continue distributing the remaining allocations to farmers across the country to ensure a stable summer agricultural season.

Dr. Mohamed Shata, Head of the Central Administration for Directorates, is following up on the implementation of instructions from the Minister to ensure timely and efficient distribution of subsidized nitrogen fertilizers. He has monitored the procedures for distributing fertilizers to farmers in both Upper and Lower Egypt, confirming that distribution operations are proceeding smoothly and in accordance with legal and administrative protocols that guarantee support reaches its intended beneficiaries.

Shata emphasized that fertilizer prices remain unchanged according to the latest updates. Farmers utilize the smart “Falah Card” to access their fertilizer allocations for various summer crops, including sugarcane, rice, maize, and vegetables.

He stressed that payments are made at officially set rates without any additional charges or fees.
