Defense Minister and Officials Inspect Military Academy Training Programs

General Mohamed Ashraf Salem Zaher, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, along with several other ministers, conducted an inspection of the training and qualification system at the Egyptian Military Academy. Accompanying him were Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces; Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport; Dr. Osama Al-Azhar, Minister of Awqaf; Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Minister of Education; and Counselor Mahmoud Helmy El-Sharif, Minister of Justice, along with various military leaders.

The inspection began with a speech from General Zaher, who conveyed greetings and appreciation from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the academy’s students and participants in civilian courses. He emphasized that the presence of promising civilian elites alongside military college students marks the beginning of a system of integration and cooperation among Egypt’s youth across various fields. This integration is vital for building individuals within the national fabric and is a true guarantee for protecting the nation’s resources and enhancing its stature in all sectors.

General Zaher noted that the General Command of the Armed Forces is committed to continuously monitoring the Egyptian Military Academy and its academic programs, which are implemented according to modern training systems. He urged students to dedicate themselves to their training, prioritize their physical fitness, and maintain an ongoing awareness of various issues through continuous learning. He also acknowledged the faculty members for their effective role in the qualification system.

The visit included observing several sports activities conducted daily by students and participants. The Commander-in-Chief joined civil course students in a physical fitness drill before touring various developed training fields and physical qualification activities.

During discussions with civil course students, General Zaher addressed topics related to their studies at the academy and how these experiences shape their personal development and enhance their academic levels according to their respective specializations. The visit concluded with Minister Zaher and other officials sharing breakfast with the students.
