Military Spokesperson Honors Late Colonel Rami Hassanien’s Legacy

The official page of the military spokesperson for the armed forces has released a tribute to the late Colonel Rami Hassanien, recognized as one of the prominent symbols of sacrifice and valor in modern times.
Born in 1975 in the Itay al-Baroud district of Beheira Governorate, Hassanien joined the Military Academy, graduating at the top of his class in 1996 as part of the 90th batch. His early military excellence and exceptional leadership skills paved his way to becoming one of the elite members of the Egyptian armed forces.
Colonel Hassanien continued his journey of academic and practical excellence by obtaining a Master’s degree in Military Sciences from the Command and Staff College, as well as a fellowship from Nasser Higher Military Academy. He also gained extensive international experience through various foreign missions.
As a professional fighter in the special forces, he completed all basic and advanced parachute courses, which qualified him for high-ranking leadership positions, ultimately leading the 103rd Parachute Battalion. In this capacity, he engaged in fierce battles against extremist and terrorist forces.
Since 2015, Colonel Rami Hassanien has written heroic chapters on the sacred land of Sinai, leading specialized field operations to cleanse Egyptian territories from terrorist and extremist hotspots.
