Prime Minister Follows Up on Enhancing Military Production Capabilities

The meeting was attended by Engineer Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Dr. Salah Suleiman Jambalat, Minister of State for Military Production.
At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to enhancing the industrial sector by facilitating more incentives and support for this vital area, recognizing its role in achieving developmental, economic, and social targets.
He pointed out ongoing efforts to localize industry across various fields to meet government and citizen demands for diverse industrial products.
In this context, Madbouly highlighted initiatives aimed at developing various companies and factories under the Ministry of Military Production. This aligns with directives from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to leverage the capabilities of these entities, particularly in civil industrial sectors.
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of continued coordination with relevant ministries and agencies to utilize manufacturing capacities effectively, thereby addressing their needs and requirements.
During the meeting, the Minister of State for Military Production presented an overview of the technological and manufacturing capabilities of ministry-affiliated companies and factories. He also discussed ongoing development plans for production lines, particularly related to civil industries.
He noted collaboration with several ministries and governmental bodies to supply various products needed for developmental and service projects. Additionally, partnerships with Egyptian universities and research centers are being fostered to enhance operational efficiency within factories and companies by leveraging modern technologies.
The discussion included military factories producing solar panels, with plans for government facilities to utilize such products.
The Minister also mentioned ongoing efforts to attract more local and foreign investments while strengthening partnerships with private sector institutions. This includes establishing strategic collaborations with major global specialized companies as directed by President El-Sisi.
These initiatives aim to enhance the capabilities of military production companies in various activities, particularly civil ones. This strategy is expected to modernize production lines and diversify products to meet local needs while opening up new export markets through effective promotion and marketing of manufactured goods.
