Egypt’s Foreign Minister Reaffirms Commitment to Regional Security and Stability
Badr Abdel Aty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasized the country’s ongoing commitment to playing a constructive role in promoting security, stability, and development for all nations in the region.
This statement was made during an interactive dialogue at the United Nations University in Tokyo, where he was joined by Dr. Chiedozie Marwala, the UN Under-Secretary-General and President of the United Nations University, along with several accredited ambassadors in Japan.

During his address, Minister Abdel Aty outlined the key tenets of Egypt’s foreign policy and the efforts being made to enhance security and stability across the region. He discussed Egypt’s positions on significant regional issues, including developments in Iran, Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, and the Horn of Africa.
