Written byNoha El Shafie

The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, through the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, has launched a series of promotional campaigns targeting key tourist markets in Europe and Latin America. The campaigns focus on the French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian, and Russian markets, aiming to highlight the diverse attractions and tourism products that Egypt offers under the slogan “Egypt… Unmatched Diversity.”.

In statements made to the press on Tuesday, Tourism and Antiquities Minister Sherif Fathy emphasized that these campaigns are part of the ministry’s strategy to enhance Egypt’s position as a diverse global tourist destination capable of meeting the interests of various tourist segments. He noted that the campaigns leverage modern marketing tools to effectively reach the target audience, contributing to an increase in inbound tourism to Egypt.

Fathy further explained that the campaigns showcase Egypt’s unique diversity and reinforce its image as a comprehensive and safe tourist destination offering rich and varied experiences. This aligns with the state’s efforts to achieve sustainable growth in the tourism sector.

Additionally, Dr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, stated that these campaigns reflect the authority’s strategy to diversify targeted markets rather than relying on specific ones. He pointed out that the markets included in these campaigns are witnessing significant growth in demand for Egyptian tourism.
