Ahmad Suleiman Addresses Zamalek’s Registration Crisis: ‘Someone is Manipulating Matters’

Written byFerdous Saeed

Ahmad Suleiman, a member of the Zamalek Club’s board of directors, discussed the recent disciplinary registration crisis faced by the club, imposed by FIFA, which has sparked considerable debate among fans of the white castle.

In an interview with MBC Masr, Suleiman stated, “Why is Zamalek being targeted? There are hidden attacks against the club. The suspension of Zamalek’s registration for two periods due to Salah Mosadek’s case dates back to April 9, meaning the decision was made two months ago. Why did it surface only yesterday? There are signs that suggest someone is manipulating matters from behind the scenes.”.

He added, “Zamalek is an Egyptian club facing difficult circumstances, and we must support it.”.

Suleiman concluded, “We still have time, and I want people to calm down; everyone is only talking about Zamalek while ignoring other clubs.”.

It is noteworthy that Zamalek recently celebrated winning the Egyptian Premier League title for the fifteenth time in its history, following a fierce competition with Al Ahly and Pyramids FC.
