The National Authority for Tunnels has announced a special free operation of the “Nile East Monorail” to facilitate transportation for fans attending events in the New Administrative Capital.

This initiative aims to provide the highest level of service to citizens while supporting the national team.

The authority stated that monorail services will be available free of charge for citizens holding tickets or QR codes, starting from 8 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2026, until 8 AM on Monday, June 22, 2026.

The monorail will transport fans directly from the “Investors” station to the “R2” station in the new capital, allowing them to watch the match between Egypt and New Zealand as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The game will be broadcast on a large screen (EFZ) in the Green River area.

The National Authority for Tunnels also noted that the regular daily operating hours for the Nile East Monorail will remain unchanged, with services running from 6 AM to 6 PM.
