Healthcare Authority Emphasizes International Partnerships for Advancing Nuclear Medicine and Technology

Dr. Ahmed El-Sobky, Head of the General Authority for Healthcare, held an extensive meeting with Alexey, a representative from the Russian Trade Office in Egypt, and Klusina Kazakova, Deputy Executive Director of the Moscow Export Center. The discussion focused on enhancing cooperation in medical technology, digital solutions, and health innovation.
The meeting explored proposed areas of collaboration between the General Authority for Healthcare and Russian companies across several advanced medical and technological specialties. These include digital health solutions, rapid diagnostics, mobile health clinics, biotechnology, digital medical management, wave and physical technologies, smart medical devices, and prosthetics. This initiative aims to support the authority’s goal of localizing modern medical technology and expanding the use of digital solutions within its facilities while adhering to the highest quality standards.
Dr. El-Sobky emphasized that this collaboration aligns with the authority’s vision to strengthen international partnerships and transfer modern medical technology. He highlighted the importance of leveraging global expertise to enhance healthcare services and improve performance efficiency within the authority’s facilities, particularly during the second phase of the Comprehensive Health Insurance System.
He also praised the cooperation with the Russian Trade Office and Moscow Export Center, noting that this partnership significantly contributes to developing healthcare services within the authority, especially in digital medicine, rapid diagnostics, mobile health clinics, and smart medical devices.
The representatives from the Russian Trade Office in Egypt stressed the importance of enhancing collaboration with the Healthcare Authority. They expressed their eagerness to expand partnership areas and provide advanced technological expertise that would support Egypt’s healthcare sector.
Both parties underscored the need to continue studying opportunities for joint cooperation in the upcoming period and explore signing memoranda of understanding that would facilitate implementing modern solutions and technologies within the General Authority for Healthcare’s facilities as part of the Comprehensive Health Insurance System. This would align with quality standards adopted by the authority.
