This damage affects not only current security and peace but will also impact the future and public perception,” he said.
In a special interview with journalist Samir Omar on Cairo News Channel, Rashwan remarked on Iran’s recent ability to reach an agreement amidst ongoing conflicts. He described Israel as a persistent aggressor throughout its history and noted that neighboring countries like Turkey and Pakistan are recalibrating their positions in relation to the Middle East.
He stated, “The region is being reshaped, and this restructuring will have long-lasting effects in the coming decades. The question now is: how will the Arabs, along with Egypt, confront the future amidst these transformations?”.
Rashwan cautioned that if Arab nations continue to rely on traditional solutions that have led to the current crisis, they risk significant losses. He pointed out that the United States has not always been a source of protection and has sometimes contributed to targeting issues. Furthermore, he noted that Israel has expanded its influence whenever given an opportunity. He highlighted the consequences of Arab nations abandoning one another, emphasizing that this abandonment has clear repercussions. In conclusion, he stressed that reorganization within the Arab world has become imperative.
