International Platform Highlights Cairo’s Cultural Significance and Contemporary Art Scene

The platform “Business Insider Africa” has praised Cairo as one of the foremost cultural centers in the Arab world, highlighting its blend of rich heritage and a flourishing contemporary art scene. The city is home to some of the most significant historical collections globally.

The platform noted that the official opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum to the public in late 2025 would further enhance Cairo’s international standing and renew interest in the city. The museum will showcase statues of gods and kings dating back three thousand years, along with treasures from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman period, housing over 100,000 artifacts, with approximately 50,000 on public display. Additionally, it will feature a complete wing dedicated to the treasures of King Tutankhamun for the first time in one location.
